Three-Time Grammy Nominee Partners with Campbell Soup Company to Raise Awareness and Funds for Agricultural Education

Agriculture is America’s largest employer, yet most people don’t realize how critical it is to continue to preserve and protect the quality and safety of the foods we eat every day.

“I don't think a lot of people realize that the American farm is a really precious resource. From harvest to table, knowing where your food comes from is really important.”
— Jewel

That’s why Campbell Soup Company has teamed up with theNational FFA Organization and singer Jewel to support the future of American farming with the “Help Grow Your Soup” campaign, inviting Americans to help preserve the places and support the people who grow our food.

Jewel is no stranger to farming. She grew up on a homestead in Alaska and currently lives on a working ranch in Texas with her husband, Ty Murray, a rodeo star.

Beginning September 29, consumers were asked to go to HelpGrowYourSoup.com. For every click on the red barn, Campbell will donate a dollar (up to $250,000) to FFA to support its efforts, which include educating and engaging America’s youth to keep American agriculture thriving.

In addition to providing financial support, Campbell is working with FFA to preserve several barns across the country. The first in Reddick, Ill., was completed by more than 60 FFA high school-age students at the Riordan family’s centennial farm. Each barn preservation event will enable farming families to update and revive their planting and harvesting processes, while also providing an educational opportunity for FFA members. The other four barns will be revived in Cherryvale, Kans.; Nashville, Tenn.; Corfu, NY; and Molalla, Ore.
